Nikola Tesla Club San Diego

The Serbian Cultural Center San Diego, in partnership with the Tesla Science Foundation USA and Tesla Science Foundation Serbia, has launched the Nikola Tesla Club. The club aims to introduce children to the life and work of Nikola Tesla, the famous Serbian-American scientist.

The club's workshops are open to children aged 6 and above. Led by experienced teachers and electrical engineering experts, the workshops will include engaging stories from Tesla's life and hands-on experiments related to the children's ages and interests. Through fun activities and practical experiments, children will learn about circuits, magnetic fields, and radio signals. They will also have the chance to explore Tesla-inspired models, projects, and exhibits, nurturing their curiosity and inspiring them to become young developers and innovators.

Inspired by Tesla's vision of free electricity for all, membership to the Nikola Tesla Club is entirely free of charge for all children! We believe in providing equal access to knowledge and opportunities, just as Tesla envisioned. Nikola Tesla Club is open not only to our students but also to all children interested in Tesla’s life and work. The workshops are held once a month at the WestPac Wealth Partners.

We are grateful to our general sponsor WestPac Wealth Partners for their support and help, Nikola Lonchar & Tesla Science Foundation, and Dijana Peric who designed and led all the workshops, as well as our volunteers and Board members who inspired us to open the club.

Join us at the Nikola Tesla Club and let your child embark on an exciting journey into the world of science and innovation. Together, we can ignite their passion for knowledge and empower them to shape a brighter future. For more info email us at dperic@serbianccsd.org.

“Let the future tell the truth and evaluate each one according to his work and accomplishments. The present is theirs; the future, for which I really worked, is mine.”
